Black History Month is observed across Canada every February and provides an opportunity to share and learn about the experiences, contributions and achievements of peoples of African ancestry. Black history refers to the stories, experiences and accomplishments of people of African origin and the African-Canadian population is made up of individuals from a range of places around the world including the United States, South America, the Caribbean, Europe, Africa, and Canada.
Just a reminder that this Friday is Valentines day! Make sure to wear your Red, Pink and white clothes!
There is the last day for yearbook cover entries grades 1-8 teachers please submit your yearbook covers to the office.
