Cell Phone Usehttp://wrb.scdsb.on.ca/about-us/news/school-news/38Cell Phone Use<p>​As of November 4, 2019, the government's new cell phone restrictions came into effect in schools.  The new restrictions vary little from our current policy and cell phone use in classrooms will be at the discretion of the teacher.  The board's expectations for cell phones are included in the student code of conduct, APM 7630, point 3.1.12, and read as follows:</p><p><em>All members of the school community must "respect the need of others to work in an environment that is conducive to learning and teaching, </em><em>including ensuring that cellphones and other personal mobile devices are only used during instructional time for educational purposes (as directed by an educator), for health and medical purposes and/or to support special education needs".<br></em></p><p>As well, cell phones are not permitted on the school yard at recess.<br></p>

A reminder to all students that balls are not to be bounced at any time near the cars parked near the portables.  This out of bounds area should only be used to walk into and out of the building and is not an area that students can play at any time of the day.
